Kids Knitting 101.22019-02-22T16:00:00Youth with basic knitting skills in third grade and older and learn to knit a hat. For this class, students must know basic knit and purl stitches as well as basic cast on and bind off methods. Students will learn simple decrease and construction while improving their ability to read and follow a pattern. Materials needed: Size 5 and 7 straight knitting needles, RedHeart or any worsted weight yarn (Light or bright colors recommended), stitch markers, and a yarn darning needle. Class size is limited.
