    Instructor Tiffaney Peleaz will teach a series of three consecutive calligraphy classes using a combination of the modern and brush methods. Terminology and the eight basic strokes needed to create an alphabet will be taught. All materials provided. Adult and Young Adult. Registration required.

  3. Kids Knitting 101.2

    February 22, 2019, 4:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Youth with basic knitting skills in third grade and older and learn to knit a hat. For this class, students must know basic knit and purl stitches as well as basic cast on and bind off methods. Students will learn simple decrease and construction while improving their ability to read and follow a pattern. Materials needed: Size 5 and 7 straight knitting needles, RedHeart or any worsted weight yarn (Light or bright colors recommended), stitch markers, and a yarn darning needle. Class size is limited.     There is a mystery that must be solved. There will be lots of clues, puzzles, codes, and keys. Work in teams to get into the box and you might just get a reward.   8. Underground Railroad: Home School Connection
