The library is hosting a fun fall scavenger hunt for children of all ages. Youth may stop in to the Main library any time and ask for a scavenger hunt card at one of our service desks. Find all the items on the card, write down the corresponding numbers, and collect sprout bucks to spend at the Madison Farmer's Market.

Ben Cohen will present a fast-paced and energetic presentation that highlights the importance of community seed sharing programs. He will discuss why planting, saving, and sharing seeds is essential to the cultivation of sustainable neighborhoods and healthy communities. Cohen will also cover pollination basics, genetic diversity, and historical preservation as well as beginning and intermediate seed saving techniques.
