  2. Young Writers Workshop

    Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays.   4. Literacy Matters Presentation

    January 22, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

    For the presentation entitled "Literacy Matters," Tracy Geglein, Literacy Coordinator at River Valley Resources, will discuss the free Adult Education program offered by River Valley Resources. The program provides the following: adult literacy support, classes to earn an HSE diploma (High School Diploma), college preparation assistance, job skills readiness programs, and certification classes. In addition, she will talk about how River Valley Resources has placed 25 Little Free Libraries in the city and county to promote literacy, and describe the many benefits of such programs.
