  2. Mother Goose on the Loose

    This story/activity time is for children 6mo. – 35mo. includes rhymes, songs, musical instruments and more for babies and toddlers and their caregivers. This group meets for five weeks through July 23rd. Participants do not have to attend every week. Registration is required. Free.   3. Birds of Prey: Hardy Lake DNR

    June 11, 2019, 2:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Hardy Lake is home to the Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Center. The center takes in injured and orphaned hawks, owls, eagles, and falcons for the purpose of rehabilitation and release. During this educational program we will learn about various birds of prey. These animals are still wild and it is fascinating to see them up close. Program time 45min. Suggested for ages 4 and up, all ages welcome. No registration.

  4. Young Writers Workshop

    Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays. Participants who finish a story may submit it to be added to the library’s collection. Registration is required. Free.   5. Knitting: Lace Table Runner

    June 11, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Hanover Public Library

    Recommended for students with intermediate skills or higher. Students will use crochet cotton thread and an 8 stitch cross technique. Materials to bring: #10 crochet cotton thread (any color), Size 3 needles and one double pointed needle. Instructor Pam Sinsel.
