  2. Summer Theater Workshop

    July 22, 2019, 9:00 AM - August 2, 2019, 11:30 AM @ Brown Gymnasium

    Learn what it takes to put on a play - and then do it! Learn the ins and outs of theater in this two week workshop which features a free performance on Aug. 1. Registration forms available on our FB page or at NiceShots! Photography, 131 E. Main Street. Students must have be 9 years old and/or have completed at least third grade. Students up to age 18 will be accepted.

  3. Build a Boat Craft

    July 23, 2019, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Use all types of recyclable materials to create a boat! Once we have completed boats, we will walk as a group to the Broadway fountain to test them out.   4. Young Writers Workshop

    Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays. Participants who finish a story may submit it to be added to the library’s collection. Registration is required. Free.   5. Knitting: Lipson Shawl

    July 23, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Hanover Public Library

    The lace pattern Lipson Shawl incorporated the knit stitch, purl stitch and yarn overs techniques. Materials to bring: 2 hanks Sport weight 100% superwash merino wool; 335 yards/100 g. per hank, size 6 24 inch circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge, and four stitch markers.
