    This story/activity time is for children 6mo.– 35mo. includes rhymes, songs, musical instruments and more for babies and toddlers and their caregivers.   2. Homeschool Connection: Meet and Greet

    Homeschool families in and around Jefferson County are welcome to attend this informal gathering. We will answer any questions about library resources and provide examples of how the library can help support home schooling endeavors.   3. Young Writer's Workshop

    Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays. Participants who finish a story may submit it to be added to the library’s collection. Registration is required. Free.   4. Open Mic Night

    Bring your favorite poem, song, or even a short book passage with you to read out loud and perform at this event. Write your own poems and short stories and read those out loud too! Refreshments will be provided. Recommended for ages 12 and up. No registration required.
