Presenter Mike Walro asks, “Is divisive political discourse getting you down? If so, why not try to discuss important issues without rancor. A third “Evening of Cordial Politics” will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The topic will be “Climate Change,” a sure-fire issue to ignite cordial (hopefully) conversation. The rules will stay the same: 1) bring a joke to start things off, the cornier the better; 2) be prepared to answer some questions like what am I afraid of and why, what are my hopes and how do we to get from here to there; and 3) be polite – no sarcasm, no name calling, no anger. We’ll just be a bunch of friends getting together to discuss what’s important. Hope to see you there."
