Mayor's Night Out
Mayor Tim Armstrong along with the department heads and council members go out periodically to different districts throughout the City of Madison where they meet with citizens within the district to discuss issues and concerns the citizens may have. The goal of this event is to reach out to the citizens in their neighborhoods instead of the citizens going to City Hall and attending council meetings. By doing so, this allows the citizens to feel more comfortable in discussing issues which in return, helps the city better serve the citizens.
